Frozen Moments in Motion - An Artistic Research Prosject
What are the concepts of motion in digital comics? What types of motion can be used in comics and how does motion affect the art form?

Frozen Moments in Motion is an Artistic Research Project I made at Univeristy of Bergen, Faculty of Fine Art, Music and design. It was developed in the period 2012–2015, and it was published in 2018.
In this research I investigate the use of motion in digital comics. To accomplish this I also had to reflect on the digital comic and its fundamental structure. I made these investigations and reflections during my own artistic work, and made two digital comics during this period: Sound of the Aurora (2014) and Close, Closer, Closest (2017).
